What to write about
The most useful emails fall into three buckets: corrections (a figure that looks wrong, a rule that changed, a broken assumption in a calculator), bugs (something that misbehaves in your browser), and requests (a tool you wish existed). Corrections get priority. Our correction policy: factual errors in tax figures are fixed within 48 hours, and the fix is noted with the page's new Updated date so you can see what changed and when.
What not to send
Please do not send personal tax documents, Social Security or National Insurance numbers, or anything else you would not want sitting in an inbox. We cannot give personal tax advice by email either — if your question is really what you should do about your own taxes, that is a conversation for a qualified CPA or Enrolled Agent, not for us.
When you will hear back
Every message is read by a human, and the aim is to reply within a week. Corrections and bug reports are usually acknowledged faster; longer discussions about feature requests may take the full seven days.
